Old City & Western Wall

We returned for the second time to the Old City and Western Wall on last Thursday.  I would love to post daily, but by the time we get back to the guest house, there are so many other things to do and we are planning the next day  and we are both pretty well worn out.  So I am a little behind in my posting.   Al of these pictures are near the Western Wall.  IDF is all over Jerusalem and there were many at the Western Wall, where they were preparing to swear in some Paratroopers.  The picture that looks like a classroom is at the Aish Yeshiva, where a Rabbi friend of Ovadyah’s took us to sit in on a Torah class. (you can see the back of my head) They say Aish is as prestigious as going to Harvard or Princeton.  It was interesting.  The last two pictures are at sunset, overlooking Jerusalem from Mt. Hertzel.

The Jewish Quarter, shops, etc.
